  1. Crib- This is probably one of the first items you will buy for your baby and is definitely a necessity. Your baby will quickly outgrow their bassinet and will need a larger place to cozy up and sleep. When picking out a crib its important to look at it’s safety features and material its made of including paint.
  2. Rocking chair- Find one that is comfortable for you. I found it important that mine reclines, rocks and swivels so I can move easily while holding my son.
  3. Changing table- no brainer. Your back will start hurting if you do all your diaper changes on the floor.
  4. Honey-Can-Do Toy Organizer– things will quickly get messy. Having a home for all the toys will help keep things tidy.
  5. Honey-Can-Do SHF-05077 Itsy-Bitsy Book Rack, Primary Colors – I bought a small narrow bookshelf that I keep near my rocking chair. Make it easily accessible so while your little one is on your lap you can just quickly grab a book and keep them entertained.
  6. Blulu Baby Clothing Size Hanger Dividers – I guess my background in Retail Buying came into play here but was super useful. I organized my son’s closet by size and it made life so much easier for me as he quickly outgrew certain size categories. It would also help me visibly see what size clothing he still needed more of and which sizes we had plenty of.
