New York Toy Fair 2019

The 2019 New York Toy Fair was an exciting event to be a part of. With over 1000 exhibitors, this show was certainly the largest international toy fair around. Getting exclusive access to all the latest and greatest products in the toy market, under one roof, was so invigorating. I couldn’t help but feel like a little kid again. After spending hours at the expo I had a clear understanding of why this is a $27B industry. Everything from coding toys, to arts and crafts, it was certainly a trade show you would not want to miss.

As a former Buyer who has attended several trade shows in the past, this was one for the books. The stimulation and excitement that lived in this show was just unreal! Speaking one on one with some of the largest toy brands, getting to touch and feel and best of all PLAY with toys not even on the market yet was any kid’s dream come true. There is something about the thrill of getting to see things before they are even on the market yet.

Being invited to this exclusive industry event was such an honor for me. Thru my site Living La Vita Mama, I always strive to give my readers the scoop on all the hottest products. It is thru these shows that I can share this knowledge with you all.

Now come along with me and check out some of the Best of New York Toy Fair…

Glove-A-Bubbles – There’s something so awesome about bubbles that keeps kids entertained for so long it’s amazing! Now add on Glove-A-Bubbles where you make bubbles with your hands and they will be even more excited! All you do is put on the glove, dip it in the solution and wave your hands to create endless bubbles!

Ginormous Elephant Yard Sprinkler – by Big Mouth INC. Having a birthday party? Pool party? Looking for a new and exciting way to keep the kids entertained in the hot summer months? It’s simple, just inflate it and connect a standard garden hose. Turn on the water and play as the water sprays out of the elephant’s trunk.

SwimWays Infant Pool Chair – Easing a baby into the pool is the best way to get them swimming. With this SwimWays Infant Spring Float it keeps the baby elevated from the water and eases them in. They are free to flap their arms around in the water while keeping their body above. It’s fun colors and characters, large floatation devices and sun canopies that provide 50+ UPF sun protection makes this a win win.

K’NEX – K’NEX are one of those toys that are both fun but great for development. Check out the 3-in-1 Classic Amusement Park Building Set which improves children’s STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math).

Fisher Price Think & Learn Rocktopus – This toy allows kids to not only play games but learn about the different instruments. Kids can play counting games, learn rhythmic patterns and even create their own music with over 15 different instruments to choose from.

Learning Resources Botley the Coding Critter – After seeing the live demo of this toy, I am completely wowed. You can code the robot to do what you want. This is certainly the toy of the future and has even won the Innovative ‘Toy Of The Year Award’. This toy will teach your child to code with active, screen-free play.
